The YYZ 450 is not 450cc but 439cc so that means you can race it. Is the TRX450R actually 450cc or is it like that too. Everything I have read said 450cc. So that means people will be spending more money to get it detuned to 440cc. Anyone else thinkin about this??!!

They changed the ruling. You can run up to 450cc's now. So the Honda is legal.

Next year I bet Yamaha changes the YZF to a full 450cc also which will suck for the first year buyers who can't afford to trade.

What class are you guys talking about...Pro or Pro production. Last time i checked it was 450cc in pro production and thats what these quads were designed to race in. In pro class you can run different frame and engine combinations, meaning it doesnt have to be a production quad. I think the reason yamaha left theres at 439cc was because in the pro class before the yfz was out, they were running the yz450f motor in a 250r frame. they never really had a quad they could take credit for. Now they have an awesome handling frame and engine to compete in both classes.
