the 350x motor makes less power than a 400ex motor.

it may not, but if he puts a lot of cash into it, it will be much more powerful.

Stock 350X from the Honda manual..27 hp. Have a "not too stock" 363 cc for sale with some goodies if anyone,s interested - about 42 hp at the wheels.

of you want more speed put a smaller back sproket on it or a bigger front sproket, but it will take some power away, but if you getting the bore kit you shouldnt have much power problems( except that its a 300ex). And get rid of your 300 and get a 400. you wont regret it.

IM not quite sure you will smoke any 400 ex that pulls up next to you a 400 ex will beat a 350 x and if you do build your 350 then its only a matter of time before you pull up next to a 440ex so why dont you just buy a new waud instead of spending your money on somethings thats out dated and basicly pointless. I mean im not trying to be mean but whens the last time you saw a 350x racing in a national? Sorry to burst your bubble

I dont think you know what you are talking about. Larger tires produce more torque and less top end. There is more traction with a larger tire because it takes more to spin them so u get better low end.

Maybe you don't know what your talking about. You don't see mx racers with 25inch tires so they can get the hole shot. The only reason drag racers have large tires in the back is because they have plenty of power to spin them. Bigger tire, more weight, more work for your engine to get them moving. Once you get a bigger tire, it slows your bottom end lots, but adds a some amount to your top end. Think of it like changing sprockets, bigger sprocket, better top end.
