The DVX is the same model as the KFX and LTZ... it juss hsa better looking plastic i think that hting looks bad.

 

that thing does look tight and from I read in dirtwheels its somewhat better than the kfx/z?

 

allow me to correct myself... they are not exactly the same like the KFX and LTZ are... the DVX differs by less than an inch in width and has shorter suspension. there might be many other things that differ also but that was all that cought my eye...i would do some reserach on the DVX..

 

i think it is.. it is a lil wider. i did not look at the bore and strokes or carbs or engine specs.. juss the dimensions and it is wider but like half an inch the suspension is also shorter... it may very well be better... i have enver even seen one in person though.??

Hondapsycio - if you are buying BRAND new i would look into the DVX it might be better than the kfx/z... be careful with that though as they just came out and WILL have problems.. the kfx has the frame problems. but if not new... 400ex all the way you can get a 00' or 01' model for 3grand with pipes... ive seen them in the paper

 

I'm sure I've said it at one time or another, but I don't understand the "save the money that you would have spent on the faster one and mod up the slow one instead". Yeah, that's all well and good, but then the reliability goes down the tube. I've heard some 400ex owners say that they regretted their choice once they rode a Z or KFX, but then there are some that say that their EX can beat modded Raptors and Banshees and the like. And 3-4 mph is a difference if you're in a long drag. The Z and KFX do rev quicker. They have liquid cooling, which keeps it from getting overheated and losing tons of power like the EX. It would seem that the better suspension, liquid cooling, and reverse are worth the extra $1,000.

Mine 400ex beats a Z400 with same mods (here it comes blah blah blah). A bran new EX is waaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than a Z or KFX or DVX. Its 6,800CND$ for a one here, 8,000 for a Z or KFX.

i own a 400ex, its fast and relible but i would trade it any day for a z400 or kfx400 the only thin a 400x has over them is hat its balanced better therefore its easier to do better wheelies with, thats it
