Default White Brothers on 300ex

hey i got a 300ex with a small bore and K&N airfilter, i was wonderin if i put a white bros E-series exaust (w/ the header) and re jet the carb would i notice much of a change. i already can kill my buddy's warrior on a track but not the drag strip. how muck more power would it give me? is it worth the 460 bucks? and what size jet would i need.
if u have any thing to say about it or suggest a diffrent pipe let me know

thanks

its your decision, that actually is a great pipe, go to www.denniskirk.com and see what they have there, and or go to a local dealer and take a look at what they got, if they got what you want

hope that helps,,, later

I run a Curtis Sparks pipe on my 300 and it made a big diffrence. A friend of mine has the E-series (w/header) and it made a noticable diffrence on his and its not as loud. I had to step up my main jet 1 size. It made it about 2/3 mph faster but it gets there guicker. For me it was worth the cost of a header, it helps the 300 a lot.

Dollar for dollar go with the DG Xccelerator stage 3 standard whole system for around $250.00. It will work just as good if not better for alot less $$$.

i've talked to a lot of people, and they all recommended the white bros E-series, or the sparks stage 6 pipes. i have a whitebros silencer on my 300EX and i noticed a big differencein throttle response, power, and a lil bit in speed. the whitebros pipe is made to give u more low-end power, so u might want to go with the sparks stage 6 if ur goin for speed. good luck
