You should maybe think about getting something with a clutch, because, if you aren't going extremely slow through trails, which you have your utility for, you will want to be flyin, and it's funner with a clutch. Look at the 400ex, kfx/z400, and some others in that class, you won't outgrow the power at least!

 

The 250EX is nice... i have had my for 2 years and yes it tops at 52 so its not that fast topend but wit a little
money you can fix that.. it has NICE Low end for a 250... i would get it I love mine

 

The 250 will be OK as long as you don't ride with a bunch of raptors and Banshees, then you will want a faster one.. I can wheelie on my 250ex for a long way!

 

I really like my 250ex...but it's not screaming fast at all....thats ok for me, cause I am a trail rider more than anything else...it does seem to be low maint, mine fires up every time I wanna ride it.

 

yea.. i can ride one helll of a long wheelie on my 250EX

 

yup easy to wheelie and not hard to filp lol but when i get mine stragit up it leeks gas out of carb is this normal?

 

dunno..... when i'm straight up and down or close to it mine leaks gas

All this talk about the 250ex makes them more desirable. I know it's too small for me though. I've driven a 400ex and love the power in that thing. Besides, my friend has a 400ex and I would never keep up to him on a 250ex.

The 250ex is actually based on the Rincon and 200sx I believe. Man that 200sx wheelies like crazy.

I want a Z400.
