The 250ex is actually based on the Rincon and 200sx I believe. Man that 200sx wheelies like crazy.
I want a Z400.

400EX are slow compared to the rest of the 400's (the Z and the YZF) and 400EX don't have reverse how stupid

That's odd cause I thought the Rincon had a 650...

The 250ex is based on the Recon not the Rincon..............
I would suggest you forget about the autoclutch and go with the 400 class machines. Your choice as to which one....
400ex if you do like to trail ride, maybe even want to lug it on the trails and it is the better handling and in my opinion is the most comfortable in this class.
Z400 has less low end torque so it likes to rev more. This means it is a little less forgiving on the trails as far as what gear you need to be in. But it does have reverse and it is liquid cooled. Thats a plus.
yfz450 is not the best trail machine but it is faster than the rest. It has the most uncomfortable ergonomics of all in this class. Its market is geared more toward racing not trail riding. Ultimately its your choice so check them all out before you decide. Best of Luck....

about the gas leaking problem, it is normal, my 300ex leaks like mad! it is just keeping the carb from flooding so it wont quit, i found if you strap a bottle to the swingarm using zip-ties, and drill a hole in the bottle cap and stick the hose in, it will save a LOT of gas. when i did this, the first wheelie i did, about 20 ft, i had about 8fl oz. of gas in it!! i used a 16 fl oz. bottle, and this is a must for wheelie fanatics. BTW, it doesnt hit anything when you jump pretty big either.
