KTM bikes traditionally dominate the paris dakar rally. The yamaha banshee is always present, some modified, some mostly stock. The baja isnt the only race in the world. We just dont pay as much attention to it because it doesnt happen here. And if i remember correctly, the ds650 won the baja when it first came out. So honda isnt the only one willing to go to that dance.

According to the latest Dirt Wheels Honda are making a 650 sport quad to go head to head with the Raptor, they said it will be a 2005 model.

According to Cub fans, they're gonna win the World Series. "Wait till next year". Just don't hold your breathe on either case. I've been putting down deposits for 4 years expecting a new Honda sport quad. Anyone wanna buy my 450R??

BMW has "traditionally" won the P2D, KTM has won the last few and will continue to win it with their new LC8.

Check out their new Superbike which will have a street version soon. Click here.

An XR650 willl win the overall which just proves that Honda should drop the 300ex and make a TRX650EXR.
Are they racing a Rincon in this years Baja 1000?

I'm not sure if American Honda will have a Rincon "officially" sponsered but you can bet there will be plenty in the race.

just think about it the utility quads are meant to be put to work. just remember speed isn't every thing when it comes to mud trails and lots of more mud. the util. quad alot of the time have better traction. the sport bikes are so light that they sink into the mud and cant get, plus ussually utilitty quads are more confortable than sportys. over all the utilitys have a better chance.

thanks
