whats the best ever sport quad for trails?
Everyone has their perspective of what they want from a sport quad for trail use. You can ask this question here and everyone will tell you their honda is the ultimate in the woods.....same with the Yamaha forum and so on. What it boils down too is trying too ride each in the environment you ride in and then make your decision based upon your needs and wants (but I agree thats a tall order too ride all potential candidates).

u dont have to switch gears on a raptor? lol anyways im pretty happy with tha way my 400ex does on the trails, reverse would be nice on extremely tight trails and swamps but its not tht bad without it. as for larger, faster trails a 400ex is great, all around

Jeff my fine intellectual friend, the front tires on a three wheeler are tucked into the turn radius, on a four wheeler they hang on the outside and get caught on trees. Ride one before you talk so much crap. I own both.
I know he was asking about quads, I was giving an ironic commentary, i.e., great handling four wheeler sometimes take a backseat to "old outdated" three wheelers.
