440ex comparison

Alright guys with a 440 kit in their ex's, I was wondering how your 440's run in a flat drag through all 5 gears against a raptor, Z400, Predator, yfz450, or any other fast bikes. Tell the truth, don't lie because you love your honda like myself(ha ha).
The reason for asking is that I want to get an idea if i got mine dialed in pretty close, Please be specific.

Mine runs wright on the heals of a raptor in a drag, it also has more torque coming out of the corners with my low midrange cam.
I ran against a Z with pretty much the same mods as mine(including 440 kit), it(the Z) was faster by the end of the drag strip but I was ahead until third gear ran out.
I just want to know what other 440's are like from experience not what you have read or heard.

I saw a 440ex with an 11:1 piston, Hotcams stage II cam, FMF slip-on and a K&N only lose by one quadlength to a Raptor with a full White Bros. E-Series exhaust and a UNI air filter. Fairly impressive for a 220cc disadvantage.

I run right with stock raptors in a 300 ft drag. All depends on who gets the best start. I can honestly say that I have never beat a well ridden banshee in a drag race. I've beaten some kids who got horrible starts or miss shifted but thats about it. Oh ya, I have never raced a pred or a yfz.

My wife has a 440 that is dialed in very well and in a flat drag race in the sand she can easily walk away from a stock raptor and last weekend she beat my baja in a race on the sand flats as well.If your 440 can not beat a stock raptor in a drag race you should probably take a look at your gearing ,tires and jetting because a stock raptor should not be a problem at all.I was surprised to see my wife stay ahead of me on the sand flats against my baja because the baja is very fast on the top end but we have put a lot of time and effort into her 440 and it has paid off.One of the biggest gains that we made recently was getting the fuel mix(110 race fuel and 92 premium pump gas) just right ,it made a difference of 2 or 3 quads lengths in a 300 foot uphill race and that is significant. As for stock yfzs predators and z 400s they are usually not a problem for the wifes 440 either so if you put out the effort to dial everything in that you can possibly think of that will enhance performance you will be surprised at how much you can gain. If you need more specifics on jetting ,gearing, fuel or anything else just pm me and i will help if i can.

Im happy with my 440 at raptor speed, I know I can get more ponies but I am trying to find a balance between power and reliability. The only thing I might get is a bigger carb and maybe a rev box. Those are just maybe's though.

We tried the big gun rev box and found that it did not perform as well as the white brothers but you may have different results with your 440.A friend of mine has a 440 that is built exactly like my wifes except he runs a fcr 39mm carb with 13:1 compression compared to my wifes at 11:1 and she is just as fast if not a little faster so the carb did not gain as much for him as you might think. We tried jetting his fcr way up and down and still my wifes 440 seems to have a slight edge. Are you running a high compression piston and if you are what fuel do you use?I am curious what main jets you are running and at what altitude if you dont mind giving that information up.As i said before if you are not easily walking away from stock raptors and z 400s you are not realizing the potential that a dialed in 440 can get you.I am not saying that your 440 is not dialed in but it wont hurt to experiment with your jetting and gearing as well as your fuel and tire pressure to try and get every little bit you can out of your quad.
