And as far as reliabilty my 440 is entering its fourth season on Nitromethanol with no problems and i run the crap out of her she is very reliable and tough as nails!!!! and i run the 40mm lectron and stock rev box.

440ex comparison
depending if your talking about stock rappys etc.... you will have your hands full with a modded rappy!! although at the last local jamboree there was a 440ex that was in my class(sand drags) and the last three were me (686 rapror), a 727 raptor and a alky440 ex and needless to say i took first, the 727 took second and the 440 took third! but i do have to give it to the 440!!! it was no sloutch! she ran right with the big boys!!!!

I have a high compression piston with a 155 main, I only run 92 octane though. As for altitude I ride mostly in southwestern ohio, not sure how high that is off hand.
