I went on my first <u>real</u> ATV experience yesterday. Myself and 7 other ATVs & 1 Dirt Bike went through some real tough terrains in Puerto Rico after a rainy day. Mud was perfect to make sure you where going to get stuck at least 6 times and have someone else with one of those cool winches get you out of the mess(gotta get me one of those!!). I was the newbie in the group, and of course they all had to feel sorry for me and tell me that I had the wrong tires for such conditions along with helping me every time I got stuck. They where cool people, though. I could not believe one would have so much fun falling on his @$$ I was planning on selling my 300ex, but now that I've seen what is really like, I wouldn't go for longer than 2 weeks without riding one. I figured I could share my experience here. Well, hope someone cares enough to at least write a reply.

Lessons learned: Get some good tires... Maxxis or ITP's, get a higher sprocket, "FLOOR IT!!"

 

Glad to hear your having fun on your atv. That is what it's all about. Riding with friends and having a blast getting dirty!!
