Any one ever use a curtis sparks degree key ? what will it do for my 400ex and are they hard to install.

 

they are not that bad to install. i can give you a link to instructions on the install that are better than what comes with the key. the key will make the bike run hotter (just a warning). they are not recommended for high compression motors because of the heat produced and the 400ex only being air cooled. overall this key will be a little bottom end power and make the throttle response feel crisp. you will need a new gasket and also a impact wrench will be needed for getting the flywheel off and putting it on.

 

i agree with cals it's not a big job . i did mine in about 30 mins. I would do this up grade again. I think it was well worth the 25 bucks to do.
