Default quick help on rinny carb!!!

i just put on hmf slip-on with 160 main and k&n. the prob is that off idle it quits especially if i hit throttle lightly in gear. the fuel mixture screw is facing down between motor and carb correct? if so i have tried 2.5 turns out and either way one full turn. it runs better with idle turned up but im sure that isnt the way to correct it!! any help would be great! thanks for time

The idle mixture screw is on the very bottom of the carb. Next to the bowl. It is the only screw on the bottom.

Default quick help on rinny carb!!!

are you talking about the idle screw that attatches to the extention to go to right side of machine?? i see you listed aftermarket exhaust so you had to play with the fuel screw right? im not sure but i thought it was on the bottom of the carb pointing down between the motor and slide of the carb?? or maybe i have that right and i have to play with idle adjustment to get it to run right??? runs fine except off the very bottom it wants to die all the time. thanks

Read my post again. The IDLE MIXTURE scew is on the very bottom of the carburetor.
The idle speed adjustment is the black **** on the right side.

No, I wasn't saying you were stupid. Sorry if it seemed like I was.
