I agree that it was a little 'light' in real content. I was happy to inally see some good pictures of it.

I hope the YFZ is a better quad than the 450R in every way because I would hate to spend the entire winter reading Ridley backtrack.

For sale: The world's first 450R with electric start. Mines on the blocks.

Uggh, I cant stand a BS review, give me some straight line numbers, have some other comprable quads on hand (YFZ, Raptor, Z400, ect) and do some real comparisions. I hate how there are like half a dozen reviews on a quad before they pit it against another one for a camparison. I honestly cant see it being a hell of a lot better than the YFZ, if any. I have ridden both 450s in bike form, and I can say that the YFZ has way more of a hit than that honda 450, granted they are nothing like thier quad counterparts, but the YFZ holds more of a similarity to its 2-wheeled brother than the Honda, and I think that is to Yamahas advantage. I may eat these words,I hope I do, but Honda has always been way to conservative for my taste.

I couldn't care less which bike out there is faster!! They are going to be pretty close no matter what. RIDE AND HANDLING are more important than speed! Based on the dirt bikes, I too suspect that the YFZ will be a little faster. But, the YFZ is a purpose built MXer. The TRX is more of a general purpose bike (like the 250R is), and will have more mass appeal for riders who don't MX........which is almost everybody! Most people in this country are trail riders. Which bike you going to pick for a trail ride??????

It sounds alot like Honda "helped" to write that review. I know, based upon my experience w/ manufactures and new products, that they like to get the media invilved in an "exclusive" debut of a product, but they say "this is what you must say about it".
Oh Well, the real shootouts will be at the dunes, the tracks, the trails, and it will be done by us, and reviewed on here.
Kory Ellis rides a 450R
This review is kind of cool, but you can tell Kory is playing the new game just introduced to the atv pros, POLITICS.
Conclusion FORD vs. CHEVY

the YFZ vs 450R....almost as much bench racing as the old mustang and camaro rivals.

from how i understood that article, i bet the yfz is going to take the 450r without a problem. personally, i think the yfz is going to take the 450r even with the hrc cam, jetting, exhaust, etc. i would have put money on the handling being perfect, but i would have also put money on the honda not being extremely quick. oh well, i will just keep my 406. i like the hondas durability.
