440ex bore kit?

Default 440ex bore kit?

i've rode with azsand and his bore 440 on alky is much faster than my stroke 440 on gas it isn't even close. not that my 440 is build for all out speed yet but it will not be as fast as his when done, if you want a fast honda for cheap check out his way it is brutally fast.

Harw it sounds like you saw one bike that was not reliable and now you think they all are. I have a 440 kit and I've ridden it a Glamis when it was a 106 and it didn't have any problems. In fact it outran every 250r it came across.

Alky is a great way to go for some excelent power, but then why not nitromethane or a NOS set up?

I guess when it comes to hi perf and top speed or acceleration etc the limits are just allways raised over and over.

I also run a nitrometane mix if needed but i rarely need that i can run up to 35% nitro[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
And this is a completely duneable bike.

What would win in a race? A 440 bore or or a 440 stroke? Let's say it's a 1/4 mile drag.

A co called custom cycle and atv in mesa arizona and the engine is three seasons old. And jed it would all depend on the builder??? but if you refer to sandmans answer back a tad there is one example????/

Hey exrider, we build alot of 416's, 425's and 440's. Our pump gas ex's make 42-43rwhp, there is really not much difference in any, going from 416 to 435 is only 4.5% increase in displacement. With the increased ring area and friction as well as enerta losses it's only about 1 hp more. The 440 does not rev less or slower then a 416 (exilaration times on my dyno are the same) As a rule, the more over square an engine, (larger bore/ stroke ratio) the higher rpm an engine will make peak power but it's not enough in this case to really matter.
We have found some things that really work on the EX head (the right porting is VERY important)

Here's my method i will not have my bikes built by anyone that is not close enough to me as so i can get my hands around his throat if need be.Go local and spec what you want. That is just my opinon [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Great Point, I want this thing to Rock What does a good port job cost on a 400ex head and to punch it out to a 435 do I need to sleave it??? Does anyone know anyone that has any Works shocks they took of a honda that would fit this 400ex for the frt they would like to sale???
