Honda's New Front Differential

Ok, so Atving has never ridden a Rancher. That is very obvious from the comments he has made regarding steering effort. The Rancher steers twice as easy as a 450, with out the sensation of the machine wanting to pull strait in a turn, like a 450. The sportsman that I've ridden had much more heavy steering than my Rancher, about in line with a 450, and thats with the sporty in 2wd. Atving, some of the things you come out with really make you look s****d. So please stick to things you know something about, what ever they might be.

Quote from Atving,
"also stroke9 you were asking if the Polaris would suffer the same issue of engagement on power slides causing under steer well it want if you have the 2 to 4 wheel drive switch turned off that is why I stress a lot how valuable it would be to have on the Ruby for this reason and for if you wanted to add lockers just turn it on for the steep stuff and off when not needed."
Well lets say the operator wasn't sure if he needed 4X4 or not and he had it on, which means it will engage if tire slip is sensed. Then he power slides for fun and 4X4 engages suddenly and violently straightens out the machine INTO A DITCH. I think it's better to have FULL TIME 4X4 if you think you need it at all.
Another quote from Atving,
"The only time it is not a good thing if you have it turned off when you think it is on when going up steep stuff which I have done before..."
I bet you made it anyway, which makes you wonder if you need it in the first place. That's why I ride sport quads instead of those 4X4 locomotive like machines.

How many people would want there 4x4 trucks to be in 4wd all the time?On a 2wd or 2wd selected bike you can hold a staight line with one hand on the bar without the front end doing "a mind of it's own" side to side thing let alone try to powerslide the thing. When Honda finally makes a selectable 4wd bike ,and it will come, you will all thing it's the greatest thing yet.
