Just4kicks, what are you talking about? Some people don't like raptors, doesn't mean that they don't like it because it isn't a Honda.

I agree w/ yamaha4eva. I've spanked my fairshare of 400ex's and one 440 and I was even in sand with practically bald tires. But maybe that 440ex did beat the raptor up the glamis hill, if he had the right gearring. I agree that I have heard only good things about honda's reliability but its hard to beleive it can beat a raptor with 40 extra cc's and couple more bolt-ons.

I can outrun stock raptors and banshees with my stock bore, high comp (10.5 to 1) piston, hotcam stage 2, head ported and polished, FCR 39mm carb, and Big Gun rev box. I race plenty of them every week at our local riding spot. I can run side by side with piped raptors. If you don't believe me, then there is nothing I can do about that. But it is the truth.

Step away from the crack pipe!
that is what I'm thinkin
one of my friends has a 01 ex
hot cam stage 2
yoshi full system
and he "said" it had some porting.........

with my stock gearing, he still couldn't stay near me.......
(this was when i was stock bore 11:1, stage one cam, and hulled out stock exhaust)

and if you think STOCK 400ex's can beat stock raptors........
you really need some help
