Default Honda vs. Yamaha: the truth is out there

The Foreman 450S is a semi-auto foot shift.

Sportsman 500 ho can't beat them... AWD is the best out there not some 3 1/2 wheel drive... It has all the power you will ever need..... JMO

As for the honda guys I AM NOT A QUAD BASHER i am just telling it as i see it... To each his own!!!
To me all quads have problems and their good and bad points...

Coyotechaser / Eutaw, my mistake; the Foreman 450S is indeed a manual shifter (the ES model would be more desirable than the S model for ease of use). So if you wanted a fully automatic Honda in the 450cc range you’d have to go with the (new) Rancher AT (a 400cc class machine) or the Rubicon (a 500cc class machine). Both have the hydrostatic transmission which is very smooth and responsive.

However when it comes to the Rubicon, although a nice machine it is up in the same price range as the standard IRS Grizzly (which currently offers more features and power). If you end up spending that much then you should try out the Grizzly and possibly some of the other top of the line models as well…
