Can anyone tell me how to fix the front brakes on a 00 Honda Recon. The Lever is real mushy. I've blead them the bottom, but I understand there is a little more to it than that....

Is it the front or rear breaks?

I have already adjusted the rear brakes twice on my wifes Recon. Adjust the rear brakes at the rear axle.

The front brakes have to be adjusted per your owners manual. Remove the red plug from the wheel & rotate until you see the adjuster lever(?), it takes a screw drive to adjust the front brakes.

Luckily with 400 miles on the Recon we haven't had to adjust the fron brakes.
