I talked to a guy he said i should get a break block off for the back of my 400ex, because the 400ex parking break wears out the brake pads even if you don't use your parking break. Do you reccemend them? Where did you buy yours from? NAC'S? Thanks

No the parking brake will not cause the brake pads to wear out faster.

Unless you adjust your parking brake after each ride, it will drastically reduce the life of your brake pads. Take it off, install a parking brake blockoff, buy a new easy pull brake lever and perch, twist and tape the nuetral start wires together, and you're good to go.

I prefer the Cascade one that Rocky Mountain sells. It comes with recessed allen bolts and the rubber o-ring seal. With many like the one sold by Nacs, you will have to use sealant and your stock bolts.
