ok I was thinkin today. I need to make my recon as competitive as possible on the race track to beat wolverines and stuff. I probably wont be able to beat them but I need to atleast keep them from lapping me. So heres my question. Could I put wheel spacers on my recon to make it wider? I know I probably could on the back, but what about the front? I didnt think I could because of the brake drum and stuff. And will it hurt to remove the airbox lid? I was thinking of getting some of the material that you make outerwares out of from Dennis Kirk and stretching it out over the top just incase it gets muddy or something.

 

yeah wheel spacers on the front and back will make it wider and they will work on the front and back nothing wrong with removing the airbox lid
