if you want to be in the open class get a 295 sleeve and have somebody port it. then get a 38mm carb, and v-forse reeds. after it is all tuned in right you would probably beat everybody up there if your a good rider.

 

The R is mad nice but I know it cant take a yzf450 thats like racing a blaster and a 250ex [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

what classes should I compete it? I'd like to do more than just one if possible...

 

Have you guys heard of that new Aprillia 450 V-twin fourstroke motor? That thing revs up to 14K rpms and is ligther than their single cylinder 450...I hope that technology makes it way over to Yamaha and Honda..that would be sick on a quad....I heard its also fast as F@#$!!!

nope - I personally have not - what I said there was my guess... I know someone with a banshee with a similar setup and he said he took a yfz without much problems and got it on vid...so I'm assuming he wasn't bs'ing me...but I have not seen that tape....
I have never seen a yfz in action in my life...

I'm also HOPING a banshee with that done to it would take atleast a stock yfz
