i was on the web and found out that the 450r is only for MX i new it was going to be a big part of MX not just MX they said it wasnt good on trails

 

whos they. baja 1000 sure seems like a trail too me there 1st place should tell you something. dont believe eveything you read.

 

The few reviews that are out there, indicate that it will be a very good all-around machine! Who wrote the review you read? Have they even ridden one????

 

yea they road it they said that it was more of and mx bike is that wat the baja is just trails

 

My guess from what I've read and know of Honda sport quads: The 300ex and 400ex are good all around quads. The 450r will be a good all around quad as well, but it will be geared towards high performance in all types of riding (trails, MX, GNCC, dunes, Jumping, etc). I don't think it will be the quad for everyone, but for those who require (want) more power and handling in a Honda product (myself included), the 450r is the quad to have.

 

the only way any one is going to find out any thing i gess is when they get them im sure when they do ther will tons of posts about it

 

The 450R engine is one that will like to rev. For trail riding, that isn't always the hot ticket. I prefer something that will lug down (like the 400EX or 300EX), because on the trails I ride I never get out of 3rd gear. But, if you look at the geometry of the 450R, the chassis should make a SUPERB trail machine, even without any mods. You will just have to learn to work the revy motor if you want to trail ride it.
