I am looking at a snow plowing system for my Rancher AT 400. I have looked at the Eagle 50" and the Cycle Country 48". What are the pros and cons of both snow plowing units. All help accepted. This is going to be my Christmas Present to me and my neighbors.

I've read a couple of rumors about Cycle Country but all second hand. I've mounted one on my rubicon but have not had enough snow to use it yet. Most people I know use Cycle Country and are very happy. My dad has an Artic Cat with a factory plow. I'm not sure who makes it but it is the simplest to mount of any I've seen with zero loss of ground clearance. Mine is steel, his is plastic with metal frame.

The best price I have found on the 48" Cycle Country delivered to my door is 410.00 USD. I have a Yellow Rancher AT 2004. It says to remove the mounting bracket before using on trails. I don't understand that either, you only lose 1/2". I see American Eagle listed, has 5 positions, but I think three positions would be plenty. Any comments or better pricing on the Cycle Country blade would be helpful. thanks

We get a lot of snow here in Jackson Wyoming. I regularly push 10" of snow with my Kodiak, and pile it hard into a snow bank.
This is my 3rd season of snow removal, and my Cycle Country Plow has not failed me in any way. I'm very happy with it.

My blade is 48 inches. It's nice that it's lightweight, but it seems like it takes longer than if I would of got the 60". Just a trade off I guess.
I thought about the "County Plow". It looks cool, but it's almost twice as heavy as what I have.
Think real hard about different tires. The stockers looked flat when I'd raise that blade up. And the traction was pathetic.
I went to Kenda Bearclaws, 6 ply. What a difference!.
And yes, I think we do get more snow than you do in Nebraska.
