I got clocked at 88.9 KM/H (55.6 MPH) with the mod below, a 14/39 gearing and 20 inch tires

 

I just got my 300EX about a week ago and have only ridden it one day...but riding beside my Prairie (with spedometer), it went 58 and we were heading into some really strong wind. I don't weigh much either, though. I think it will go a little faster without the wind, maybe 1 or 2 mph more? It was on gravel. It pops weelies SOOOO easy and accelerates pretty well. I was contemplating the 250EX, but I went with the 300 because of the better suspension, more cc's, and I'm REALLY glad I did. I've raced a 250EX, and compared the better suspension and power make quite a difference. I got used to the reverse within a few minutes; yes, it's a little primitive but it's better than not having it at all. I would have gone with the 400EX, but I'm not strong enough (or tall enough) to move that back end around by myself. I think you would probably like any of them, though.

 

yea im leaning towaeds the 300ex but i like the looks on the 250 better ( i dont like that head light on the 300)

 

Same here. I find the 250ex looks more like the 450r in a way...

take the head light off and put a different one on that is what i did
