Hey guys i was wondering the top speed on the 300ex if any one knows please tell me and how much faster is it than the 250ex?

Stock 300ex will run 54-55mph. At least thats what ive heard. And a 300ex is maybe 5mph faster than the 250ex and will pull away rather easy.

 

really? i heard the top speed on the 250ex was 52 u would think the 300ex would be like 60, but if it has better acceleration that would make up for it.

 

ive ridden both the 300ex is def faster but the 250ex is one fun quad to play around on.

 

250ex- 52 mph

300ex- 56/57 mph

 

no the 250ex will run 48-49 and the 300ex mid 50's. Def not 60 because thats what my warrior does and i pull away from both

 

I would def look into both and see what riding you like better.. I also saw that you are looking at the Z250 which is just like the 250ex but i think it has a better suspension. The 250ex suspension is not good for jumps. The 300ex is a great quad but i think lacks power and the reverse needs to be hit with a hammer. you should also look at the mojave which is also a really great quad.

 

From what dirtwheels said, they both jump equal, I wouldnt think the 300ex lacks power when since its a 282cc and can keep up with a 349cc warrior, once you get the reverse down good, you can switch it in and out in a matter of seconds, i can do it in about 5 secs, and i dont use it that much. and also according to an older edition of Dirtwheels when they did a test, the 300ex's top speed is in the upper 50s, not the mid. not trying to start some arguing, just throwing in my $.02
