CR250 vs BANSHEE 370cc
Hey I know that this is an atv forum but what do you guys think would win I thought this being a Honda site some of you
might have a honda dirtbike. OH I would like to know who would win on a straight out dragrace on topend. My friend says
he can outrun me his bike is stock and my banshee has a few mods they are listed below.WHAT DO YALL THINK?

i beat a cr250 but the kid ridin the cr250 sucked at ridin it. it had a PC pipe and a few other things. i think you should race and find out..lol maybe if you beat him he will stop talkin sh*t. but 250 dirtbikes are extremly fast.

Depending on what type of surface you will be racing on (sand,dirt,asphalt)the CR will beat the banshee with ease, the only way you will even come close is if you start from a dead start in the sand the banshee would get out front till about third gear, then any of the the new two wheeled dirtbikes will pass a banshee. The two stroke dirtbike motors are just so more advanced than any quad two stroke motor and a dirtbike weighs alot less than a quad.

A modded banshee like more then just pipes will beat a stock yz250 and a yz250 is like the best 250 out there ( seen it done lots) But once the yz 250 gets some mods on it it will blow the banshee away inless the banshee is like super dragster style

well id have to say that the dikes will always win in dragscuz there pushing so much poer and the weight so much less..... the only thin the quad will win @ is mud and then again banshee is not mud freindly anyway, and in the 250 world of dirtbikes, CR250r and RM250 are 1rst then the kawasaki and then yamaha, if you want the best but most expensive the KTM will blow them all away!

I used to have a 2000 CR250R with a few mods...platinum pipe, quarter turn throttle and a few other goodies. I raced a guy that had a banshee from up the street..he had pipes and a few other mods and he got left in the dust. Not by much though, he kept up all right, but i remeber looking back over my shoulder after the 3rd gear powerband hit and seeing an up rooted cornstalk wiz right by this guys head...lol I dominated with no contest in highspeed. I bought the bike used, and the dealer claimed it was set up for race and I still have no clue what was done to it. I remeber it would go so fast that the skin would start rippling on my hands behind my knuckles. I sold the 250 though, now I got a cr500 which, for some reason, seems slower than that 250...but the 500 is gettin engine work cause its an 88 and maybe thats why. - peace
