If you know how fast the 300ex will go please let me know because I am thinking about getting one and I want to know if it will beat my buddies Warrior which goes 56MPH.

I have raced on a stock Warrior. I have been beaten by the 400EX, (more times than I'd want to admit), and although I do not know exactly how fast a 300EX will go, I've never lost a race to one. I read that the 300EX is suposed to handle a little better in the woods... I know I wouldn't trade my warrior in for one.

 

I would! the 300ex's are alot better than people think..they might not be the best machine for WIDE OPEN RUNS all the time, but anywhere else, you wont be touched!

 

as for a warrior beatin a 400 ex he is full of it a 300 ex is a good bike and when u hop it up it will keep up with a stock 400ex through 3rd gear i have a 400 ex but the rest of my buddies all have 300ex and love them. one of them has been clocked at 69mph top end.and the 300ex will out last the warrior by years.you can't go wrong with that bike.

 

it says in atv 4 wheel atv action they said it will go 54

 

I say my 300ex would go about 55-58 all I have done to it is cracked the pipe(not intentionaly)put a larger main jet in it adjusted the throttle and removed the airbox lid(sometimes) I raced a stock warrior in sand when mine was about 2 weeks old and I tied him.

My 98' 300EX would go 64mph. It had dg pipe, dyno jet kit, k&n filter with airbox lid removed, and a 14 tooth sprocket.

 

My friends have a 400ex and i have come very close to beaten him when he was stock and i with every engine mod without being bored out so i say mine will go 62-63

what mods do you have? because I beat my sister's boyfriend on his totally tricked out... bored .60 over, pipe... jetted, made lighter 300ex, with my stock 400ex the day i got it!! That's right, the day i got my bike... with the throttle only going 80%. And i beat him by about 2-3 quadlenghts... (100 yard drag). Now with my throttle at 100% and my K&N kit.. he can't touch me!!! and he is alot better of a rider than i am.
