Default HELP! im a newbie with my quad

I just got a DG Stage 2-Xellerator Exhaust for my 03 400EX,i've only ride'n it with it one for maybe an hour and today when i went down to try and get the quad started it wont kick over.the only thing it will do is make a pop''n noise from the exhaust. its not the barrery and the fuel's not frozen. the only thing i could think of is maybe because its been between 8 and 30 Degree's outside. But the 400EX is my first quad owning and i've only had it about a month so any help or tip about starting it in the cold or why it wont stary would be of great help

Thanks~

Default HELP! im a newbie with my quad

pump the thumb throttle a few times, the carburetor is equipped with an excellerator pump that shoots a jet of gasoline into the intake, kinda like a primer on a lawnmower.

you might be running lean, get a dynojet jet kit and it should make yourquad run right.

Default HELP! im a newbie with my quad

Hey did you try the choke? If you did then just spray some starting fluid down the intake, and it will fire. If it doesn't fire you probobly have an ignition problem.
