I don't understand? Please explain.

I have replied to you & other Polaris owners posts about the Honda differential.
It does work as advertised. What do you guys not understand? Sure there could be some defective ones out there, if so take it to the dealer & have it checked!

I measured my new one last week when I picked it up. It had 14.25" at the rear with the suspension set firm. It had closer to 12.75" in ther front with a 1.5 Highlifter lift. It now has 16.25" in the rear and 15.25 in the front. I put 27X12X12 vamps front and back with 20lbs in the back and 15lbs in the front with durablue spacers.

There is a huge difference in the way the new AP differential works over the old conventional limited slip design. The difference is this, the old design will get both wheels to grab if you apply the right amount of front brake presure. The AP will shift power to the wheel with traction on its own, but not always. Some times it needs a little help deciding which wheel that is, thats were sawing the handle bars back and fourth comes from. Once the wheel with traction gets the power, you don't have to do anything else, no brakes, no sawing the bars, etc. I guess it doesn't work as advertised, because it would apply torque to the wheel with traction on its own all the time. It does work miles ahead of the conventional limited slip design though.

Greg,
Mine seems to work more like a locker than a limited slip. Note that I said "more like". 9
out of 10 times that I have looked both tires are crankin away in those off camber
situations.
