300ex or Warrior
I don't think either is much good for mud, though both can be quite a lot of fun ...
Trails ... tossup there, for fast trails I'd say the 300EX. It's more agile
Jumps: 300EX, has a better suspension setup. If you' re not doing big jumps, the warrior can do nice ones, but the suspension bottoms out real easy, even just on the takeoff ramp (see pics on my page).
Hill Climbs: Warrior all the way. More torque, and the heavier front end makes the Warrior an excellent hill climber. Not to say you're going to hang with Raptors and such up big hills, but you'll be more stable for sure.
After market .. probably about the same
Hope that helps ya! Oh .. the Warrior's reverse is much easier to use .. if that's important to you.

300ex or Warrior
rode both frequently in the past 3 months and would have to say the 300
300
mud...300 can go through 2-4 ft much easier with the low end acceleration
jumps...the 300 ex rarely bottoms out unless u land on the two fronts...
trails...300ex handeling is amazing...quick and agile...
hills...front is not as heavy but easily forgotten with practice of leaning forward...
aftermarket parts...havent had a problem with gettin anything aftermarket yet...
warrior
mud...front heavy sinks more so not as easy to get out of it...
jumps...feels like its lugging forward with so much front weight...
trails...for fast trails its alright steering is stiffer than 300 though...
hills...better b/c of more front weight but less accleration for quick hills...
aftermarket parts...havent ahd any probs with gettin anyhting aftermarket yet...
overall----300 with reliability as a FACTOR...for every time the 300 broke the warrior broke 3 times....

300ex or Warrior
Ive rode both and it seems that the warrior is great for mud and hills and is somewhat nose heavy wheras the honda does better on tight trails and jumps or MX tracks. both are good allaround and very reliable bikes...
the 2 are close in speed but the warrior has 6 gears and the 300ex has 5 and the warrior is faster... well i hope that helps they are both very fun machines.
Well enjoy

id go with the 300 it is great in mud and u can get the front end up easily- i hit jumps and unless u land wrong the suspensoin is great.
I have a question about mine- its a 2000 all stock xcpt an air filter. i read a review that a stock 2000 is supposed to go 52 Mine only goes 40-45
ne suggestions on whats wrong- its been rolled twice within 20 minutes of wach other, but honda is reliable- is this the problem or something else
Thanks
