Hi, can you someone tell me the different models that were available that year for this three wheeler. Just wondering what I have (S,ES)??

If it's an 85 Big Red, the proper model name is ATC250ES. It only came one way, however they did have a model that year called an ATC200S, no racks or electric start, and an ATC250R (the nasty fast two stroke). If you are in doubt, the surest way to find out is to write down the VIN number, found stamped on the steering stem, and bring it to a Honda dealer. They should be able to identify it that way.

 

I believe in '85, Honda's three wheeler lineup included the ATC125M, ATC200M, ATC200S, ATC200X, ATC250SX, ATC250ES (the Big Red), ATC250R and the ATC350X.

The Big Red of that year had balloon tires, a few inches of suspension fore and aft, shaft drive, and electric start. It also arrived complete with racks and a few other utility-related goodies.

 

it's a 250 big red with electric start and reverse...So it must be a 250ES

how difficulty is it to do a carb rebuild on this thing? what brand of carb, any links on the web!
