Default Kudos to an earlier post on Gas cap vent!

Hey on a earlier post by me & the problems I was having in the cold weather. Someone mentioned the steering post fills with water. If your gas cap vent happens to be sitting in there it can cause vapor lock. I was out riding Saturday & my bike kept dying on me. I was rather pissed as I just got it back from the shop. Just got a tune up & rejetted for my WB pipe. It would run great for a few minutes & then die. I was sure it was a fuel problem but couldn't figure out where. A buddy I was with pulled out my vent hose & blew thru it to make sure it wasn't clogged. It wasn't then but when he put it back in the post something clicked. I remembered that post & pulled the hose out again a little quicker. Water came out with it. My hose now sits in front of the bar & bike ran great the rest of the day! Thanks to whoever that was
