Default Hot cams 1 0r 2 questions

do you need any special tools to remove or replace the old cam with a new hot cam 400ex fixing to order a cam now, it show on you web sight that you can get some kind of kit to install but is it needed for $119

I don't think anything special is requaired besides the usual torque wrench and sockets. What stage are you getting?

I want low end I will put a stage one with a stock bore 11:1 piston and heads flowed and spec'd do you think I will hang with a 400z?

With a pipe, and the mods you listed above you should keep up pretty good. You should just get the stage 2 cam since it's more competitive.

how would the stage two be with a stock bore 11:1 piston would it run fine??? and thanks for the other rider suggestion I'll keep that in mind [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

hot cams are designed to run with the stock piston if you go to there website you can find out all the questions you need awnsered they also work well with some aftermarket pistons. Im running a 440 wiseco piston and it seems great,ill tell you more once its good and broken in, and I can let it have it. As for special tools no you dont there is not to much involved in the job the tools that they sho are degreeing wheels they are to adjust where the powerband of the cam is this is not somthing you should do if you have never done it before. Doing the cams should make a good improvement for you good luck if you have any other questions check the website out, if not give me a yell. Kwack is that enough for you? people do know things here.
