OK, let's here your opinions on rear tire brands. All I've ever ran was holeshots. Are the Bandits good? Let me know what you run, and what you think of 'em. Trail riding and roosting in the good Ohio dirt covers just about all my riding.
Wayne National and Richland Furnace are my favorite public riding locations.

I have a 400ex with holeshot xc's. I have them on the douglas 190. I really like them. They have been hooking up in about every codintion. I did put a hole in them once. But i but slime and plugged it up and it has been working fine.

Itp are very good tires, but they have a soft rubber compond. This gives you very good traction, but they wear faster. Sherreders are about the same with a little bit longer life. We have found that the Razor's are giving very good traction. It is a harder compound of rubber. For play riding it is a very good tire and lasts very long. Don't get any of the tractor type treads because you lose to much power and speed with the extra traction.

I run Turf Tamers, 20x11x10 on Douglas .190 rims. This is gonna sound weird if you are familiar with what Turf Tamers look like, but they have turned out to be the best tire I have ever ran in the mud! I know it doesn't make any sense, but I race in harescrambles and the last two have been raced in complete downpours and my Turf Tamers were tanking right up some slippery hills that Holeshots, Bandits, and Shredders couldn't get up.

Bear Claw - Smooth Ride
- Good Pattern
- Our crew uses on 450es and klf300
- 450es 12" nasty looking
- so far good wear on all machines

I run Titan Trail Claws II's and I think that they hook up like crazy glue. At a local race track, I was running with the 4 strokes which there is usually about 12 of us. Well the next time I raced with the Trail Claws I got the Hole shot in both motos, compaired to the middle of the pack like I used to get. Great tires. Try em out.

Thanks all for the suggestions, I think I will be ordering the Holeshots XCT 22in rears on the Douglas Rims. I rode another 400 with them on it this past weekend. It does great in all terrain.
That will give me this set up.
23in XCT Holeshot Fronts Douglas 190 rims
22in XCT Holeshot Rears Douglas 190 rims. More clearance, but.....
Time to go to 14 touth front sprocket!!

the best tire to get is the maxxis all track
22-11-9, it is the best all around tire you can buy. long long long lasting, have never had to plug them, and have had them on 3 differnt bikes now (SAME SET).
