wow.......hang on......same women 300exguy?

 

i could only find an 86 when i was looking round, in the end our farm had 3 bikes on the property (one was a wrecker)....all 86 models....i have never seen a 87 or 88 model

the chain problem...is it an o ring chain?....do the adjusters come loose?.....i haven't owned one for a while but can try to help.....

i think i had locking nuts (might have to go to shop and buy two)....to prevent the adjusted nuts coming loose......if the chain is a non o ring type, it will wear faster.....if its cheap it will where in different places in the chain....chain should be adjusted to give 1 3/16 - 1 3/8 inch (30-35mm)free play in the centre between the two sprockets.....what are the srockets like?.....

Pudding,
I got all new sprokets and and a chain in Feb(same time that the breaks where fixed)
I just went out an got new big 4 bolts and i cant get 1 old bolt out...it's stuck
it's not an "O ring" chain.(i'd like to get an "o ring" chain soon) and someone told me that if the back bearings where new the chain would move more but i don't think that's an issue.
