The other post regarding a recall went downhill, so here is the story. Honda faxed the dealers who are supposed to call the owners. They are checking one of the a-arms for a weld. To see if it is present or not.
I took mine in today. My weld was present. They placed a stamp with a hammer the ATV and filled out verification paperwork for Honda and faxed it back.

Do you know what your talking about on the re-call on the honda rubicon's.The reason i ask is because you wrote that there was a question on whether or not a weld was made to a rear a-arm. The last time I looked i had a straight axel on my rubicon. Just checking, Kewl

Can you say missprint? When you are typing with two people talking, it is easy.
Got some pics of yours Kewlpop? Has your dealer contacted you? If so, did yours have the weld there?

Doc,
I asked my dealer if he had been contacted about a recall. He told me he has not heard anything about it. Do you think it might be on certain serial numbers? Have a good day.

You may be correct on that Rubione. I will ask my dealer if he knows the answer to that? I also have a phone # for Honda of N.A. in Torrance, CA if you want to call.
