Default Handle Bars and Grips

Does anyone have any advice on the best way to install/secure grips onto handle bars
They are very tight to get on, I am afaird if I use a glue, I may get halfway on and can't get any furthur. I don't think using soap to get them started is a good idea
Any help would be great
Thanks

Use old crappy spray paint
spray it into the grip slide it on, and let it dry
keeps them in place

Grip glue works great for me. It lubes the grip enough to slip it on easily. You just have to be fast enough to get the grip on there before it begins to dry. I would say you have something like 10 seconds to get it on, and then about 30 seconds to be sure it is positioned correctly and wipe off any excess glue.

Like reconranger stated, the grip glue works good but you have to work really fast, once you put the glue on the grips get it on the bars as fast as possible. Another solution is how they put golf grips on. Get double back tape and wrap on the bars, then soak the inside of the grip with lighter fluid, swish it around then dump out the fluid and then quickly slide the grips on. The lighter fluid quickly evaporates and the grips stick to the double back tape.
