My 450R is here!
I was debating whether to hold out for a 650EX, but after seeing the 450, I am going to go with it. I like the "do more with less" philosophy of this machine. The power up kit is already installed, and they are going to take my 400EX in trade. Won't get a rider review out any time soon though. I am really tied up for the next couple of weeks, and probably won't have time to even break in the motor. And, no real serious riding anyway until I get a full chassis skid plate. No way am I going to risk bending a frame rail!

you'll love it. i got mine saturday. i haven't rode it an extended period of time becaue it was very very wet and nasty everywhere, but from what i can tell so far- it rips! i cant really say mine needs the power up kit yet. I have plenty low end and power to spare everywhere else. Seems like it really 'wakes up' after 1/4 throttle. I am impressed with it as it has more than i thought it would have. the handling is excellent! kickstarting is easy- i can do it sitting down like on my banshee. i like this bike!

I looked at the endcap that they took out of the muffler......boy does that thing cork it up!!! Went from a 118 main jet to a 180 something. The cams are so different, that you can see the difference between them from way across the room.
Going to get a bumper, nerf bars, full chassis and swingarm skid plates, IMS desert tank, and different handlebars. Already have Holeshot XC tires and ITP rims from off the 400EX. It will be a while and some $$$$, before I have it all built up.
