Well I must say im not too happy with my first day riding my brand new 400ex.About ten miles into the trails the steering got really hard and started to squeek really bad from the top bushing. Then when I came back from a full day of wet, muddy and sandy riding and was cleaning the quad I pulled the air filter lid off.NICE!!!!!!The air filter is not even connected to the boot and the clamp and screw are lying in the bottom of the box.Great way to break in my moter, with no air filter!!!!!!Thanks Honda!!!

I never had those kind of issues... Must be a dealer thing. I would take that quad bake and tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine...

first of all, its a dealer issue, and why would he buy a yamaha? so he can leak dirt into his motor with a crappy air filter design or throw his chain with the horrible adjustment system?

Its a dealer issue. The dealer is to inspect all components, oil, tuning, electrical and torque on lugs on delivery and a good one will walk you through the bike to show you how to maintain. My first bike they did this. After all, they want the repeat business and they get paid to take care of you. You should have also took the time to look it over too. I'm more curious than ever when I spend 6000.00. I've had no problems with mine from day one. My friend bought his from another dealer and his clutch cable adjustment came loose down on the engine. Good luck-- oh, by the way...NO YAMMIES IN A HONDA FORUM, YOU SNOOP.(afraid he'll miss out on something)
