I saw the 450 for the first time yesterday at the dealer, and I liked the ergo's of it, and the softer seat then the YFZ. The Honda seems to be more trail friendlier then the YFZ. So I was wondering if the Honda has the elec start option, like the YFZ with the kick option. I hear some say they do, then some say they don't. What have you heard?

they don't for now. the rumor I heard was it will be an option next year.

 

Honda will be releasing the CRF450X later this year or early next year. The CRF250X is on the way soon also.. They will have E-start. Even if Honda does not have E-start as an option, you will be able to Fab it out of over the counter parts. I have a sneaky suspicion that Honda will add the button when they see how many YFZ's leave the showroom floor. If they don't that can only mean that a 650EX is coming soon.
