I stopped by the local dealer to check out the new honda 450r. The guy told me that there is no warranty what so ever and that they can't be insured because they are a "race bike". Is this true??

 

I'm not for sure how things work in canada but over here they give you a 6 month warrenty and you can insure it

Bad Bronco got his from al gaskill's.I'm getting mine from grace performance just across the creek from you.I was wondering where your honda dealer is over there.I've been to precision power sports a bunch of times for sled parts but never seen a honda dealer.I was going to check on a price to see if i'd get a better deal with the exchange.

 

I got a 6 month warranty and yes you can get insurance.

I was looking at WCK Recreation. Precisions is in Sarnia and WCK is about half an hour south of there on the river. There is also Hully in London. WCK is 10350 CAN OTD and hully gully 9775 CAN OTD. How much do they sell them for in michigan. I will probably go look over there because they are cheaper.

I'm goin back to look at it again on saturday and this time i'll talk to the owner cuz he knows his stuff and hopefully he'll let me start it and see how it runs.

I am getting mine for 6727.00 otd from Grace's.They still haven't gotten their first one yet.Whats the exchange rate at right now?I now a few people who bought sleds over there last year and saved about a thousand dollars.

 

I got 6 months warranty and 42 months extended warranty. No problem insuring it either.
