400ex battery

Default 400ex battery

2days ago i got on my 400ex to start it and it just made a clicking noise coming from around the battery when i hit the start button but eventually it will start does anyone no whats happening thanks alot

Sounds like the battery is low or going bad - how long has it been sitting? is it the original battery?

Could be your starter solenoid. Next to the battery. TOuch a screwdriver between both post and see if it starts. Here where I live it is a natrual problem with these. Let me know.

Check the battery connections also. They may be loose.

silenoid would be my guess...could be your starter too. Check the silenoid first though.

Mine does that sometimes and it's just the battery connections are dirty or loose

Battery's dead. Charge it using a 2 amp charge for about 12 hours, you should be good.
