it's pretty sad that we as ATVers finally get a couple of actual racing quads and the general population still seems to lust for 87 octane engines, reverse and electric start.
things I'd like to change on the TRX450R:
-a real CRF450 motor.
-no lights
-stock pro pegs
-number plates
-12" travel at both ends and a lower MX stance
-300 pounds dry. (bikes have gotten much lighter over the years, why have quads got heavier????)
AND THEN quads would be comparable and respectable to MX bikes!
and if you really liek 4 strokes more then youl like the TRX more huh
i would classify the YFZ more like a 3-stroke i guess, it has that important mid range blast yet maintaining strong bottom and top end torque. if i liked 2 strokes i would get a banshee and if i liked pure 4 strokes i would get a TRX if you want a little bit of in between... YFZ. make sense?

hey, who doesn't like the nice hard seat on the YFZ450? Jeeze, what a ***** whiner you must be when the seat's too hard on a racing machine for your liking. No, I don't think the handling, power or suspension really matters as much as the cushiness of the seat. And no, I don't ride aggressively enough to actually need a nice hard flat seat to maneuver on. OMG. lol.
I have an 86 Suzuki quadracer that has an amazingly soft seat. Not for long, I'm gonna bust out the knife and cut most of the seat away 'til it's nice and hard. Then I'm putting the custom SUPER-GRIP seat cover on that rips off your pants... yes... excellent... bwahahaha. COMFORT SUCKS!
