Default Honda 400ex Exhaust Help!!!!!

I am looking for an aftermarket pipe for my quad. I would prefer a complete system because I plan on doing some motor mods later. Can any one suggest a good pipe? Or does any one have a used one?
Any help would be great. If any one has a nice pipe for sale please let me know. my email is sparkzilla500@yahoo.com Thanks

Check Ebay, there are a ton of used systems out there. White brothers would be a good starting point for the 400EX, also seen alot of guys racing with the Big Gun system and HMF.

I've got a WB e series pipe in good shape. I went with an WB r4 instead. Of course if you want the header too I don't know. These slip on's are pretty nice but if you plan on doing alot of engine mods I would go with a full system too! Good luck either way

I have a WhiteBrothers R4 on my 03 400ex it is great. Unless you are doing some serious porting and boring just get a slip on. A after market head pipe will hurt you more then help you if you don't have some serious head work done. In my opinion the R4 is the best bang for your buck.

I like my Curtis Sparks. It gives some good power. THey have an X-4 for smaller mods, and X-6 for larger mods. Sparksracing.com

I have a complete pro circuit t4 exhaust along with a k&n filter and proper jetting and it seemed to help some, not a significant amount with only that done but 400ex's respond better to air box mods vs exhaust until you do some engine mods. The t4 sounds good, but is kinda loud without anything in it..no spark arrester or quiet core.

I have the X-6. There are pretty loud when your wide open, but if your putting and idling, its not to bad. I am not sure what the decible is though.
