I am looking to get a a newer bike this spring I wanted to know if you recomend the 300 ex. I don't want the 400 because of the fact of no reverse. I have also been looking at warriors and wolverines which would you say is a better more relighable bike and ps I have always been a honda guy!

 

well the 300ex is a great quad i love mine, and the reverse come in handy. but it doesnt have near the power of a 400 but if u want a 400 check out the z400 it has a reverse. but if you want to stick with honda the the 300ex is great hanldes very well fun to drive great speed and acceleration for only 282cc's. now if you are looking at the warriors then i would wait and get a raptor 350 which is going to replace the warrior. and the wolverine i dont know anything about that. but anyway the 300ex is awesome. and if you really want a 300ex then u might consider boring it to maybe a 330 and get a full exhaust that would really wake the enigine up.

ohh ok my bad i thought u were getting a new one. i bought my 2002 300ex off of ebay for $3,050. in the past i have seen some z400 for around that price on ebay u might want to check there but again if u want to stick with honda the 300ex is great!!

I got my 2001 400EX last August for $3500 USD. It's in mint condition. Looks like it had about two rides on it. Forget reverse. Just get off the machine and push it. I wouldn't sacrifice the power for reverse...but that's just me. You should look into the 400Z. I hear it's a bad machine.

 

300ex good. Raptor 350 maybe.

 

those raptor 350s are just warrior motors beefed up

 

my buddy has a 300ex and its a nice trail quad, i dont know how much trail riding you do in Nova Scotia but the reverse is nice, but i have a 250R and if get into a bind i can usually just spin the rear end around to turn around but if not, its not that much work. The warrior are nice quads also but u r a honda guy so go with the 300ex if you realy want reverse but the 400ex would be better.
