Running out of time but just wanted to respond quickly. The 400ex is a great bike ! Ride one and see for yourself that is the true test ! My only gripe is lack of reverse since I am not a racer. It is nice to have reverse on my Mojave' but the 400ex is so light it doesnt take much to either spin the rear end around or manually turn it around. I don't think there are that many unsatisfied 400ex owners out there. I will get an earful for this but whats the hurry you have a decent bike see whats up with the Raptor, and Honda's response to it before you shell out the cash ! Just my 2 cents.

Have a good one !

Triston

The 400EX is definitely worth the $$$$. Having paid the equivalent of $8,900 tax paid for the bike alone and a couple of $$$$ more for mods I have no regrets. I live in the Philippines and it feels like the 400EX was built exactly for the tight trails we have here.

My 400ex was the best $6000 I've ever spent (that includes tax and insurance).

The 400 is a great bike!!! I like it alot better than warriors, and basters and stuff. It is also very confrontable, and easy to ride! I wouldn't trade my 400 in for a rapter, or DS 650, even if i didn't have to put any more money in, Honestly. Go for the 400!! it's the only way to go!!

Definitely worth the money. It's the master of none, but great at everything type of quad. All of the guys we ride with who don't have one all want a 400ex now.
