I owned my Rancher for a few months and the only problems so far is I have to let it sit after riding a few miles on hot days to cool down or the dealer say it may seize up again. The front differential broke the other day so it's a 2wd now but I have a good neighbor I can call on my cell phone who will tow me out.If I ride through mud my drums fill with dirt and water and will not stop the bike.I do not have a computer yet but will get one and I have to borrow my neighbor's for now and hope to join the forum soon with my own user name.I find it very informative.

Signed. Tim's neighbor

"Tim's neighbour"

This post is so ludicrous that I assume it is a joke. Oh BTW, I have a better idea .... why don't you use your cell phone and call someone who doesn't know better and might believe this crap.

Excellent quad for me. No problems yet. I rolled (flipped) it this weekend and it started up without any trouble. Handle bars and racks were a little bent and I am a little sore, but the quad started up and the only damage it has is to the handle bars and racks.

Tim1, couldn't post a topic like this on the Polaris forum the response would be overwhelming! Maybe Polaris would then pass Honda on the forum count.

I have had 2 problems with mine.

one.. if you are stuck in mud.. and your quad is at an angle of say 30 degrees forward pitch and gas tank is not full... the carb will run out of gas and the engine will not run till you get it back on level ground to refill the float bowl.

two.. there is a clip in the back storage compartment that holds the sealing gasket together, it's rusting. this should have been made of some other metal or painted to aviod it's premature rusting.

omg.. those are so trival... but.. I was looking for a flaw long and hard... not much of one to speak of...

I think it's a GREAT Quad.. I love mine!

>>>>>157 miles no problems,<<<<<<<

Let's see... at an average of 15 MPH you have run your machine for 10.47 hours

If fire roads were involved the hours would be even less.

One would certainly hope that there were no problems.

I have seen Honda 300s with over 10,000 miles on them.
