Glad to hear the Rancher is as solid as everyone claims it is. Even with all the disagreements about which company makes the best product. It good to hear that people are enjoying their quads. Keep riding and screw the bashing!!

Now you've done it, Rancher!

You've just cued the ever-present poster, who has no personal experience with a Rancher, who has never ridden nor observed a Rancher in action, but who has "heard" or "read" something conclusively proving in the critic's mind, Ranchers are deficient, flawed, shoddy, or just plain junk, compared to the poster's preferred make and model of quad.

Stand by for an intrusion from posters from other forums who want to convince someone (themselves?) of your folly and bad judgment in choosing a Rancher, instead of the poster's choice of make and model.

I fail to see how someone's enjoyment of his own quad is enhanced by bashing another's; however, it happens! Glad you like your Rancher; I've ridden a hundred miles or so alongside 'em; if Ranchers aren't excellent quads, they've got me fooled!

Well, 470 miles, no problems. Well there are scratches on the racks & plastic, does that count.

I have owned motorcycles & personnal watercraft & I have to admit quads are more fun. I was surprised on how easy my boots will scratch the plastic.

Every body ride..................

You’re the man! I have ridden a Rancher, although I person don’t think it’s the quad for me, I do respect Honda’s reputation. People will always have different opinions; the trick is respecting each other’s point of view. I could care the less what a person rides, I simply enjoy being out on the trail. If you can’t understand that then I feel sorry for you.

157 miles no problems, but today i got it wedged between 2 trees and had to get my chain saw and cut the sh** out of them to get out, good thing the DEP didnt see that one!
Oh, and the L.S front diff. does work! I bottomed out on a big log today and they got me off of it.. Had 2 of my friends sitting on the front racks for traction but they still threw up dirt (bolth of em') I allmost got a flat front tire today also, theres a big gash in it but i think it will be okay with a patch, i need some damn VAMPS!!!!

Keep riding!

Ditto Tree Farmer.

One nagging problem I've noticed with mine is the accumulation of dust on the green plastic. Should be self-cleaning I think.

Leave it out in the rain.
Then go riding again and collect "new" dust. That's about as self cleaning as I can get with mine. Should work for you to!
