synthetic oil ?

Just bought a 300ex yesterday. I was told the guy is running synthetic in it, is it okay to run synthetic?

Nothing at all wrong with running synthetic it actually has many benefits especially on your air-cooled EX. Great machine you purchased there by the way, you'll love it!
